Gruppenhaus Zorgetal

Gruppenhaus Zorgetal is scheduled to open September 2024.

Gruppenhaus Zorgetal, located on the main street of the idylic Harz-mountains town Zorge, is an ideal location to stay with your entire family, all your friends, sport or work team, scouting or schoolclass. It’s also well suited for events like marriages, team-building, receptions or seminars. It has 10 bedrooms, 2 living rooms, a bar, 3 kitchens (one of which is a coffee bar) and 4 bathrooms and can sleep up to 25 people.

Gruppenhaus Zorgetal is the former village Spar supermarket, but has been completely renovated in 2023 up to the highest modern standards with new kitchens and bathrooms, all rooms are extremely well insulated and the main heating is now done with airconditionings and infrared panels.

From street level you can enter the group house via two entrances, one entrance leading to the hallway with the stairs to the upper levels with the sleeping accomodations, the other entrance leading directly into the former supermarket floor, now being the huge 150 m2 big living/dining/game room. At the front of this living room is a lounge area with multiple sofas and a 70-inch TV with Playstation 4, next to a large 25 KW wood stove for (tr)additional heating. Behind that are snooker/pool, airhockey and football tables and a darts board. Behind the gaming area, half a level lower, is the huge dining area with long tables which can seat up to 40 guests, and there’s a 5-meter wide coffee bar to the back. Next to the dining area is a large kitchen with two 5-burner induction stoves, industrial dishwasher and fridge, and all needed equipment. From both the living room (with double doors) and the kitchen you can enter the private backyard which borders on the Zorge river. In the garden is seating room for everybody, and there is a small playground with trampoline for the kids.

The dining area and kitchen are in fact in a former seperated outhouse and above them is another floor with a bar overlooking the living room. The bar has a beer tap and coolers, and there’s an audio system and a flatscreen TV to watch sports. On this floor are also 3 toilets (male/female) and a bathroom with 3 showers and a double sink, as well as the 10th bedroom of the house with 2 single beds.

At the front of the house, from the right street entrance and via an inside corridor next to the living room, you enter into the main hallway with stairs leading to the first and second floors. Half-way up towards the first floor is a seperate toilet. The first floor itself has 4 big bedrooms, a living room/kitchen and a bathroom with 2 showers, a double sink and a toilet. Bedroom 4 is designed as a children’s room with 2 bunk beds, one of which being an impressive castle! These beds themselves are ofcourse also suitable for adults.

The second floor has 5 big bedrooms, one of which is a combined bedroom/living room, and there is a bathroom with 2 showers, sink and toilet. Bedroom 3 is designed as a children’s room with a single bed and a bunk bed with a pull-out bed.
