Appartment Kleiner Harzensfreund is located on the main street in the center of Sankt Andreasberg, the highest city in the German Harz mountains.
This newly renovated and state-of-the-art private apartment for 2-4 persons is located on the ground floor. The apartment has a combined living room/bedroom with a 160 cm wide double bed and a double sleeping sofa (140 cm wide) and is equipped with a 46-inch LED TV with a retro gaming console. Next to the living room is a separate dining area for 4, with a cozy coffee/tea bar. To the back is the fully equipped kitchen with an induction stove, dishwasher and oven. Next to the kitchen is the half-open bathroom with shower and sink. From the living room there is also a hallway with wardrobe, closet and ski storage, and at the end is a separate toilet (with sink).
Sankt Andreasberg has -according to Bergfex- the highest rated ski facilities in Germany (Matthias-Schmidt-Berg with 4,6/5 stars). All needed facilities, such as 2 bakeries, shops, a supermarkt, ski-rentals, restaurants, bars, a pharmacy and the bus stop are just meters away.

Gemütlich, Komfortabel, gut Gelegen. Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt in der Wohnung. Die Wohnung ist super ausgestattet und ist perfekt gelegen in dem schönen St. Andreasberg. Ich empfehle es gerne weiter und komme wieder. :)

We hebben hier met het gezin een viertal nachten doorgebracht tijdens de Nederlandse herstvakantie. Het vakantiehuis was bij aankomst volledig ingericht en netjes schoon, de fijne bedden met donzige dekens al opgemaakt.
De keuken en sanitaire voorzieningen eenvoudig, maar zo te zien recentelijk gerenoveerd en functioneel. De douche heeft een krachtige straal en lekker warm water en de oven was volgens mij nog nooit eerder gebruikt.
De kinderen konden zich goed vermaken met de aanwezige game console met klassiekers (heel leuk, dat zouden meer woningen moeten hebben) en de WiFi was goed genoeg om d.m.v. onze eigen chromecast 's avonds onze favoriete films en series te streamen.
Ligging: op steenworp afstand zijn twee warme bakkers en een paar honderd meter verder een supermarkt. Er is ook een druk bezochte pizzeria (reserveer vooraf voor de zekerheid) en aan de rand van het dorp is een hotel waar je als bezoeker ook a-la-carte kunt dineren.
Je kunt in het dorp zelf ook een bezoek brengen aan de oude mijnschacht (aanrader). Het is tevens een prima uitvalsbasis voor de nabijgelegen plaatsen.
Voor de sportieve fietser lopen er ook een aantal in meer en minder uitdagende mate routes via het dorp of met het dorp als start- of eindpunt. Omdat het dorp op een heuvel ligt begin je dan doorgaans met een afdaling, tenzij je de route richting Sonnenberg neemt.
Wij komen hier graag terug.
